He is an Adjunct professor and Senior Research Scholar at the School of International and Public Affairs, Columbia University, a visiting professor at Georgetown University in the US and a Guest professor at Beijing Foreign Studies University in China. He was a senior scholar at the Jackson Institute for international Affairs, Yale University.
